On a dark and stormy sunday night 13th November the long awaited Jackson Kayaks were
delivered.

Stability, durability and specialization to the fisherman’s needs are the three answered objectives of the Coosa’s unique design. The wider hull design, Stability and Standability, Hi/Lo seat setup, deck arrangement with numerous paddle/rod staging and holding options, and the unique secondary edges designed by World Champion Jackson Kayak engineers make the Coosa the most stable craft on the water. Build with elite plastic molding, as designed for whitewater kayakers, the Coosa can withstand anything an angler can throw at it; Couple that with outstanding and unique fishing features and you have simply the best all round fishing kayak out there.

Jackson Daytripper 10 also arrived,

Day Tripper 10 Elite

Dryer, more stable, stronger, fun and supremely comfortable for those fun days at the lake and even on moving water! Our deck is designed for dry storage with drybags included and an optional ‘mini-skirt’ that allows you to keep even dryer on those wavy days. With a lower center of gravity than most canoes, and additional stability gained using a two-bladed kayak paddle, the Daytripper is far more stable than most water craft. With the addition of the fishing tray that play’s host to fishing tackle, drinks and fishing rod holders, the Daytripper was designed for fun. Topping it all off are the comfortable and dry DayTripper removable seats. These tough, comfy, folding chairs keep you’re center of gravity low in the kayak and butt off any water that gets in. No more uncomfortable kneeling! The adjustable foot rests allow for custom comfort for every length of leg
  • Length: 3m
  • Weight: 20kg incl seat which can be removed to lift onto car ect.

Demo day 13th Nov 2011 at Boambee Creek Reserve:

Skee Kayaks held an on water come and try day sunday 13th Nov at Boambee Creek Reserve.
There were approx 30 different kayaks covering brands including Australis, Viking, Oz Paddle,
Dagger, Seaward, Native Watercraft.
Representatives were also on hand to discuss their own brands, Mark Wells from Paddle Pro was
showing Wilderness Systems, and Perception, Amanda Rankin was introducing Tootega and
Delsyk kayaks, and Matt from Spring Creek Outdoor introduced his imported line of kayaks.
View of some of the craft available to test paddle.
Over 60  people had registered their interest for paddling on the day. Some people ended up a little more wet than others, but that was all part of the enjoyment.

The Native Watercraft mariner 12.5 propel was popular, not only the curious wondering about the pedal propel kayaks, but also those extremely interested in the new mode of kayak pedalling
The demo days give people interested in kayaking a way to try the kayaks out in supervised creek/
estuary conditions.

The feedback from the day has beeen extremely positive. The day was organised to give people a chance to try before they commit to buying, as each kayak has its own characteristics and each
paddler wants something different.
For any further informtion contact Karen at Skee Kayaks Centre at Mullaway.
