PLEASE NOTE the removable black side tubes are filled with 100mm lane markers ( pool noodles ) which provides much improved stability and floatation especially in rough conditions.

The high back seat.makes back ache a thing of the past. I did this with the mariner 12.5 as well (BIG IMPROVEMENT). I also raised the front of the seat to make a more layback position ( this helps with the angle at the hips when pedaling ).

The tapered front cover provides a dry area and adds protection from waves that would normally splash in over the front in choppy water (the odd wave can still splash over the top in pretty rough water).
